ASTROnews is the Society’s quarterly news magazine covering happenings in ASTRO, cancer care and the specialty of radiation oncology. It is published in print and digitally four times a year. ASTROnews includes columns from influential Society members, updates on legislative issues, coding and billing changes, profiles of ASTRO award winners, in-depth feature stories on our membership and issues affecting the specialty, and news from the larger cancer community. The Editorial Board provides guidance on issue themes, editorial content, including current issues facing members and the specialty, and identifies potential authors and experts on chosen topics.

Resource panel members have a significant interest in this disease site including at least 5 years of concentrated patient care of this population post-residency. The resource panel strives to represent a diverse community that shares a demonstrated expertise in the particular disease site. The expertise should be demonstrated through academic publications, scientific and/or community educational presentations, and/or clinical expertise. Panel members will provide advice and insight and provide direction on clinical issues pertinent to ASTRO and the radiation oncology community.
